Fountain sits just south of Colorado Springs and minutes from Fort Carson’s gates, which makes it the first stop for many PCSing families. Newer subdivisions offer some of the region’s most affordable single-family homes, and the Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 is built around military family life, including mid-year moves.

Homes here move quickly because demand from incoming soldiers never really stops. Buyers should come pre-approved; sellers can expect strong interest around every PCS season.
